Brand & Corporate Writing

In transitioning my career from public relations to writing, I joined the Creative Services department of Merle Norman Cosmetics. Always eager to contribute and learn new skills, I dove into the skincare and cosmetics industry. As part of the headquarters of an international franchise business, I interfaced with an internal creative team and multiple departments, from sales to customer service. I wrote both B2C and B2B copy (including executive messaging) -- a role that helped me hone in on the skill of creating salable copy in both long and short form.

My beauty and freelance experience proved beneficial when an e-commerce hair care company sought me out this year. After a one-on-one interview with the chief executive officer of eSalon, I joined the acquisitions team as a freelance copywriter. The journey has been joyful as I pivot towards more ad-based copy to drive sales.
