I believe in the power of words. Today's consumer is digitally connected and inundated with messaging. One swipe or click, and your message could be lost, which is why making the word count should be top-of-mind. Words can catapult or crush a campaign; hurt or propel a brand; sell or diminish a product's integrity.
I believe that content should be interesting and not just used to fill a page. I take time to ensure that what I write is clear, concise, and engaging. I carefully craft each sentence, paying close attention to the way in which words flow. A reader should be able to quickly decipher the point and stay engaged to reach the call to action.
Thanks to many mentors, my career as a communications professional and copywriter has spanned various industries. From this wide range of experiences, I savor new opportunities to share my writing skills with others. My greatest professional satisfaction is when a client reads what I wrote and says, "wow, you make me sound so good."
I tell my clients that we all have a story to tell, and we often bury or don't even know that story exists. I bring out the most relevant and appealing aspect of my client, and it's not by mincing words or creating something from nothing. These stories are organic to every client.
My earliest writing memory dates back to my childhood when I would write long letters to my cousins abroad. One of my most thrilling moments was in elementary school when I wrote a letter to my local department store about my mother and won a Mother's Day necklace for her! You won't find that letter here, but you will see other examples of my work.
